Company

Your residence and your company don't have to be in the same country.

Living in Latin America does not mean your operating company has to be set up there. What matters is where your business is generated, where your clients are and how your residence is taxed.

Route 1, and the only one with everything from one source

πŸ‡΅πŸ‡¦ Panama: company and residence together

Panama is the one place in our portfolio where three things come together: it is one of our twelve countries, your own Panamanian company counts as the economic tie for the Friendly Nations visa (an employment contract or a property purchase is not required for this), and we set up the company ourselves. That makes it the only route we sell completely end to end: company and residence from one source, nothing handed on. Two years of provisional residence, then permanent residence.

Residence and company are two decisions.

If you automatically put both in the same country, you often give away exactly the flexibility you went international for. A US LLC, a company in the UAE or another structure outside Latin America can make more sense. Companies like these are set up through the company practice of our network. Within our Latin America portfolio, we form companies only in Panama.

We check the structure together with your residence and tax status, instead of selling you a company and discovering the tax consequences later.

Route 3: a local company in your destination

Some residence procedures require a local company; the Brazilian investor visa via a company is the best-known example. Here we are honest: we do not set up these companies ourselves. Where a residence file requires a local company, we coordinate its formation together with our local partners, licensed attorneys in each country, and keep it in step with the residence procedure, but you will not find a "local company in eleven countries" product on our shelf. The exception is and remains Panama, see above.

One point of contact, from start to finish

Your application is filed together with our local partners, licensed attorneys in each country, with whom we have worked for years. We coordinate your case, check your documents and remain your point of contact: in English, throughout.

That applies whether you are still at home or already on the road: one point of contact, no language barrier, no loose ends across four time zones.

The company follows the business, not your residence.

In the free assessment we first settle your residence and your goal. After that, the company falls neatly into place.
