πŸ‡¦πŸ‡· Argentina: Apply for Residence and Permanent Residence

Argentina is the honest special case in our portfolio: a Plan A to move to, not a low-presence backup. Even temporary residence requires around 183 days of presence a year; in return you get a country where you can buy farmland and vineyards 100% in your own name, a European-influenced way of life and maximum distance from the trouble spots of the northern hemisphere. The way in is temporary residence: Rentista for passive income from abroad, Pensionado for retirees, or the route via a qualifying investment. After two years comes permanent residence, and with it a stable base for the fast naturalisation Argentina offers people who really move there. On tax, here is what hardly anyone tells you in advance: once you become tax resident, you pay on worldwide income plus wealth tax, so planning your days belongs in the plan from the start. If you only want to park a status, Paraguay or Panama will suit you better.

Not included in any procedure: government fees, apostilles and legalisations, certified translations, notary costs, travel and tax advice in the destination country. The details are on each service page.

Your application is filed together with our local partners, licensed attorneys in each country, with whom we have worked for years. We coordinate your case, check your documents and remain your point of contact: in English, throughout.

That applies whether you are still at home or already on the road: one point of contact, no language barrier, no loose ends across four time zones.
