For entrepreneurs who establish their economic tie to Panama through their own Panamanian company, so that company and residence come as one.

Requirements

• Your own company in Panama (an S.A., with no minimum capital for the Friendly Nations visa) that counts as the economic tie; an employment contract or a property purchase is then not needed. Plus a valid passport, an apostilled police certificate and certified translations.
• Your own company in Panama (S.A. (Sociedad Anónima)); the formation is included as a fixed item: USD 1,600. No minimum capital for the Panamanian company; the company itself is the economic tie. Ongoing bookkeeping and registered office not included.

Permanent residence

First two years of provisional residence, then a separate application for permanent residence as stage 2; naturalisation is possible after five years of permanent residence.

Stage 2: permanent residence after two years: USD 4,600, to be ordered later. Not part of this order; you order the second stage when the time comes.
