Who Friendly Nations (stage 1, provisional residence) is for

For investors, remote workers, freelancers and people with passive income from more than 50 countries on Panama's list of friendly nations (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein among them; we check your passport before you order), who build an economic tie to Panama without forming a company.

Requirements

• A demonstrable economic tie to Panama through property, a fixed deposit or local employment; we agree which suits you before you order. Plus a valid passport, an apostilled police certificate and certified translations.

Permanent residence

First two years of provisional residence, then a separate application for permanent residence as stage 2; naturalisation is possible after five years of permanent residence.

Stage 2: permanent residence after two years: USD 4,600, to be ordered later. Not part of this order; you order the second stage when the time comes.
