Costa Rica Β· Inversionista

Costa Rica Inversionista

For investors who want to commit capital in Costa Rica, at a fixed price, filed by licensed attorneys on the ground and coordinated in English.

Who Inversionista is for

For investors who want to commit capital in Costa Rica, classically through property, alternatively through a business or an approved project.

Requirements

  • An investment in property, a business or an approved project; the USD 150,000 threshold under Ley 9996 applied only within its window, which ended on 14 July 2026, and for new applications it is currently not clearly regulated, so we confirm the threshold that applies before you apply; plus mandatory registration with the Caja.

Permanent residence

Temporary residence; after three years you can apply for permanent residence, which no longer depends on proof of the investment.

What is included

  • A check of your details against the requirements by our team, before your case goes to the partner
  • Preparation and filing of the application by our local partners, licensed attorneys in each country
  • Coordination by your personal contact, in English
  • Accompanying family members in the same case, each at the price shown
Not included: government fees (approx. USD 400), translations and apostilles. Ongoing: contributions to the national health service CCSS (Caja).

You add family members at checkout: USD 1,500 per adult aged 18 or over, children under 18 free of charge.
