Who Business investor (BRL 500,000) is for

For entrepreneurs who want to open up the Brazilian market with their own Brazilian company and live in Brazil.

Requirements

• A Brazilian company (LTDA) in which you invest at least BRL 500,000, plus a sound business plan and proof of the jobs created.
• Your own company in Brazil (LTDA (Sociedade Limitada)); the formation is included as a fixed item: USD 1,500. Minimum investment BRL 500,000, paid into your own Brazilian company, not a fee. Ongoing bookkeeping and registered office not included.

Permanent residence

The permit is temporary at first and becomes indefinite while you hold the investment and genuinely run the business; after four years of permanent residence a passport is possible.
