Ecuador Visa Nómada (residence)

For digital nomads and location-independent freelancers, at a fixed price, filed by licensed attorneys on the ground and coordinated in English.

Who Visa Nómada (residence) is for

For remote workers and location-independent freelancers who live on foreign income and want to make Ecuador their real base.

Requirements

  • You prove that you live remotely on foreign income of at least three times the SBU minimum wage, which in 2026 means USD 1,446 a month; you do not need a company.

Permanent residence

A residence, but not permanent residence; permanent residence opens after 21 months at the earliest, and we check before the application whether your nomad status counts towards it.

What is included

  • A check of your details against the requirements by our team, before your case goes to the partner
  • Preparation and filing of the application by our local partners, licensed attorneys in each country
  • Coordination by your personal contact, in English
  • Accompanying family members in the same case, each at the price shown
Not included: government fees (approx. USD 335), translations and apostilles. Ongoing: health insurance for Ecuador.

You add family members at checkout: USD 1,100 per adult aged 18 or over, USD 1,100 per child under 18.

How it works

  1. Order online

You order here at a fixed price and pay by card, bank transfer or crypto. The invoice follows by email once the payment has reached us.

  2. Requirements check

Our team first checks your details against the requirements before your case goes any further.

  3. Application on the ground

We then hand your case to our local partners, licensed attorneys in each country, and your personal contact gets in touch with you, in English.
